Post Thanksgiving

T-Day with family has come and gone--now to the real job of preparing for departure.

The sidecar is now mounted, tires inflated, lights checked.

Road Trip

I'm currently doing the New England Tour- MA yesterday, to Rhode Island tomorrow and finally to CT on Wednesday.

Retired...Really

Oct. 30 - finally the big day came. We had lunches and fun & goodbyes (or see you soon) all week. But the last day was mostly about seeing people and then saying goodbye.

Then off to new adventures...Road trip!

Moving On

Finally retiring from Unilever on Halloween - a perfect day. Halloween originates from the Celtic Samhain which was a celebration of the end of the harvest. And so it appropriate to celebrate the end of my working years on this holiday.
Now, I am planning the next adventure. The road trip begins in November. First we'll go south which is the perfect direction to go just as winter is coming. My sister lives in North Carolina so I'll head there to celebrate Thanksgiving, and then...who knows.
But first I need to find my travel companion, Tedd.
